Purpose
At Paxauris, we are working to improve people’s lives by providing a better way to quiet. Our goal is to protect people from noise and so eliminate noise-induced hearing damage, the most prevalent worker injury. A Marketing Intern at Paxauris works as part of a focused team to realize this goal. Specific responsibilities include maintaining social media profiles, generating the company e-newsletter, supporting a Kickstarter campaign, and generating graphics for use in marketing materials. We are a fast-paced, growing startup.
Responsibilities
- Generate content for, update, and maintain company social media platforms.
- Engage with contacts on social media platforms.
- Generate company e-newsletter.
- Create graphics for use in marketing materials.
- Support Kickstarter campaign. This will include designing the Kickstarter page and promotional video.
- Support various Pilot Studies, including initiating, planning, and analyzing data.
- Connect Paxauris to clients. This includes identifying potential partners, initiating contact, performing preliminary outreach, and transferring leads to team.
- Assist with packaging design, including materials selection and graphic design.
Requirements
- Minimum three years coursework in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphic design software.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team as well as independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in audio, audiology, hearing protection, and/or hearing augmentation.
- Experience using earplugs for ear protection.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.
