Our facilities occupy approximately 2500 sq. ft. in Phoenix AZ and include a laboratory and office space. The laboratory is equipped with molds and vacuum degassing equipment for benchtop earplug fabrication, and with speakers, microphones, and National Instruments data acquisition systems for acoustic testing. Paxauris has relationships with established engineering design and fabrication houses nationally and in the Phoenix area for electrical and mechanical prototyping work.
Our development approach relies on extensive in-house validation using a biofidelic head that includes simulated bones, brain, and skin, and is instrumented with ear-canal microphones and a hydrophone in the brain cavity. This approach enables us to prove our technology prior to human subject validation.
