Kickstarter Limited Warranty

If you purchased Paxauris products through another platform or retailer, please contact the original seller for their applicable policies.

Kickstarter rewards are generally not eligible for returns or refunds, and our campaign FAQ stated that returns and refunds would not be offered. Notwithstanding the above, Paxauris stands behind the quality of its products and offers the limited warranty and exchange policies described below.

90-Day Limited Manufacturing Warranty

Paxauris warrants that Fluid™ inflatable earplugs delivered as Kickstarter rewards will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from confirmed delivery, as evidenced by carrier tracking records (the “Warranty Period”).

If a qualifying defect arises during the Warranty Period, Paxauris will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product,
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable model, or
  • Issue a refund of the original product purchase price.

“Normal and intended use” means use in accordance with the product’s technical specifications, instructions for use, and safety guidelines.

What This Limited Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that, under normal use, result in:

  • Structural failure of the earplug body
  • Failure of the inflation or deflation mechanism

What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect sizing or fit preference
  • Damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions
  • Accidental damage
  • Loss or theft
  • Damage that does not affect functional performance
  • Accessories including the earplug case, premium case or cord

Warranty Claim Process

To submit a claim:

  • A request must be submitted through the Paxauris Warranty and Return Portal¹ within ninety (90) calendar days of confirmed delivery.
  • You must provide:
    • Order number
    • The email address used for your Kickstarter pledge
    • Description of the issue
    • Information regarding product usage
    • Clear photographs of the failed product showing region of failure

Paxauris will review the submission and determine eligibility at its sole discretion.

If a claim is approved, Paxauris may:

  • Issue a prepaid return label and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), if return is required;
  • Provide a replacement product; or
  • Issue a refund of the original product purchase price.

If a return is required:

  • The product must be in transit back to Paxauris within fourteen (14) calendar days of RMA issuance.
  • Returned items must include all original components.

Failure to comply with return instructions may void the claim.

Shipping fees, duties, taxes, and handling charges are non-refundable.

Notes: ¹ The Paxauris Warranty and Return Portal is expected to be made available from April 15 2026

Limitation

This limited warranty is provided only to the original Kickstarter backer and is non-transferable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided in connection with Kickstarter rewards.
